As discussed, we have opened up our Dispersal Draft for public voting on REGULAR SEASON STANDINGS ONLY.
Brief synopsis of what happened for those not following along: NHL contracted down to 12 teams for one season only. We had a dispersal draft for the 2014-15 season. You are voting on the regular season standings for how good you think those teams are. Feel free to opine, or just check the appropriate box.
You are voting for third place in each respective conference, please do not vote for two teams on one side of the "-----------" divider or vote any other number but two teams (one for each conference)...
Please read this thread for more information about the teams BEFORE VOTING (obviously) or see the easy team index below: http://www.letsgopens.com/scripts/phpBB ... =6&t=64414" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Easy index:
Foster Hewitt Conference:
Hartford
Iceland
Los Angeles
New York
St. Louis
Seattle
Danny Gallivan Conference:

In the event that I do not get a healthy sample size, I will elicit other voters from outside sources.
Feel free to discuss your selections in here and other pertinent information. Thank you.

Re: Dispersal Draft - Regular Season Voting - 3rd place
For the first time, I'm actually gonna vote immediately after making the thread. Normally, I wait a day, but I'm pretty confident in the selections. I voted Toronto for 1st in the Gallivan Conference and then voted for them in the last poll as well...

This LA team is like the real one. Going to finish 3rd then take it all.

I'm assuming the 1 votes for Iceland and Hartford are their own teams.

Re: Dispersal Draft - Regular Season Voting - 3rd place
I'm in the lead for 3rd?
I still voted for Iceland - I think they have the deeper skating lineup altogether with more scoring, though a weaker forward/goalie group than mine (LA). I also voted for Toronto over Columbus. I'm a fan of Bernier, and their defense is possibly the best in the league. Combine that with 4 solid lines spearheaded by Malkin & Zetterberg, and you have a team that will be scary to face in the playoffs. I really, really like Columbus's top line (forward/defense) though.

Congrats to Los Angeles and Toronto, they have been elected to the third place positions of their respective conferences...please vote for the fourth and final playoff spot.
