Lovejoy battled with MacKinnon on a few occasions, including a skirmish that resulted in a roughing penalties. Then, late in the game Ben hit him with a sketchy hit

That was Roy's point as well.

Boohoodreau would have crapped his pants if Roy knocked down that divider.

And then on the last shift, they send out their 4th liners and people question Roy for matching with his own 4th liners.

Roy = awesome. He's gonna take that team places. Not him alone of course. They've got 3 top lines if Mackinnon can consistently contribute the way he did in this game. He had 2 perfect, sick assists. He's got wheels to boot. Comes as advertised.

Lovejoy and Mackinnon tried to fight early in the game. The Ducks were embarassed by the Avs. They got stoned by Varlamov (they only scored after the stupid Avs fans started chanting "Varly" for his shutout performance with about 4 minutes left. I threw up my hands in disbelief. My fiancee chided me for being superstitious... and then the Ducks scored to erase the shutout.)

I was watching the Ducks feed (because the Avs announcers are unbearable), and they said the S word with about 55 seconds left or so...and that was it for poor Varly...
