Among the new 28-member ownership group are NHLers Patrice Bergeron (BOS), Roberto Luongo (VAN), Mathieu Perreault (WSH), Bruno Gervais (PHI), and Sean Couturier (PHI) whose father Sylvain served as GM of the Titan until October 2011 and has since been re-appointed to the position.
The franchise was located in Laval, QC from it's inception until moving to Bathurst, NB in 1998. Notable alumni, aside from those mentioned above, include Mario Lemieux, Mike Bossy, Gino Odjick, and Vincent Damphousse.

Amazing that this franchise was saved. Being from New Brunswick (as is TFrizz), it sort of shocks me that enought investors were found to be able to do this. The northern part of NB is losing everyone due to tough economic times... (Most everyone is moving out West chasing the Oil dream) or to the south of NB. Regardless, a classy move by a large number of people. This will be a positive inspiration for a large number of hockey mad youngsters!!!
