Hockey's cold warrrrr RT @SlavaMalamud: More Medvedev. "NHL's opinion of itself is so high... OK, let them get drunk on their greatness."
Slava Malamud @SlavaMalamud
And more Medvedev. "Our league will act according to our own and international rules. If players decide to stay, we will help them."

Malamud is a little bit of a sensationalist. Lamoriello was asked about this in a press conference yesterday (go figure), and someone asked if he's going to allow the KHL to buyout the contract and he said, "NO." I don't see it happening....
Who would have thought, all those Cold War years over nuclear armaments and mutually assured destruction..... and Russian/American hostilities would FINALLY come to a head over a man-child malcontent making millions of dollars playing a child's game.
Each of the last 3 threads i've been in have had you basically hating players? How do you tolerate watching games with all of these selfish "man-children" all over the ice?
That is "hating" them when their actions or play have fairly earned some criticism?
Reality check bro. If we are going to laud guys for good character, actions, and play-- we can also call them out when they do the opposite. It's called life.

What did Martin do to get his character questioned?
