I'm sure Eric Cole pulls enough weight for anyone to care...
The Habs are probably crossing their fingers that his $4.5 goes away.

Re: Erik Cole may retire after this season
I don't care if he wants to be a crybaby.
But bringing the daughter into it? Come on. Anytime somebody starts talking family, personal this blah blah.... .... THEN HERE COMES THE MONEY COMPLAINTS-----> It is about the money and always was. Family was tossed in there as a scapegoat for your MONEY COMPLAINTS.
At least sack up and say what you want to say without the dramatics you ninny.
And honestly, does he think anybody is going to cry themselves to sleep over some millionaire players *maybe* not getting 100% of their dollars, but only 90%? Hey, Eric--- guess what? That CBA was agreed to by YOUR representation as well. These things have to happen for the health of the league. Otherwise, if teams fold that means players lose their WHOLE salary and not just a small portion of it. Get the eff over yourself.

The Canes announcers still whine about Orpik TO THIS DAY. Well, they did last season (Tripp Tracy, I'm looking at you).DocEmrick wrote:

Controversial hit, but Cole turned his back to avoid any contact like a wuss. He knew Orpik was there. To play devil's advocate, Orpik shouldn't have followed thru.

Re: Erik Cole may retire after this season
I thought it was a dirty hit then and still do with clear intent to injure and I'm hardly one that subscribes to figure-skating style of NHL hockey. Cole already had his back turned going to the wall and then loses control of the puck and is looking for it, all the time his back is definitely to Orpik before he gets driven up high right into the boards head first.DocEmrick wrote:Controversial hit, but Cole turned his back to avoid any contact like a wuss. Pens were losing this game and frustrated and Orpik just went overboard there.

Re: Erik Cole may retire after this season
I was kind of confused by that as well. He overplayed his cap hit by a good margin last year.Zach6668 wrote:?????????????????????bhaw wrote:I'm sure Eric Cole pulls enough weight for anyone to care...
