UFO Warz Post-Game

Post by DocEmrick »

Guys,

First off thanks for an absolutely great game. Columbia and I had just as much fun as MODs as we do when we play WARZ. Second, thanks for sticking with it and giving me another chance at being a mod.

We want your feedback, while I do. While, there's always going to be blunders and funny mishaps in a Doc game, I'd like opinions on the actual game elements. Did they add too much confusion? How about the factions? What are your opinions on factions? Is 3 too much? Also, we're doing an experimental game in the test forum, it's just getting underway, you're more than welcome to participate (It will run through Day 1 and Night 1 only).

I wanted to add a very special thanks to columbia for co-modding. He's an excellent co-mod, and I would suggest him anytime. He works twice as hard and puts in effort to keep track of things, which in my games, can usually get kind of out of hand.

Winners: Orion Star Empire

I really enjoyed the game. Was difficult for the blue, especially after the trickery you did on me, but it was very fun. Kept you on your toes.

Loved the game, good job to the both of you.

lolol @ rylan voting for SDD. I put in for mind control for him to vote for SDD before SDD came out as vig...just because SDD was the only one with votes beside me, and i wanted to live. Then rylan came in after SDD came out but still had to vote for him

And was not allowed to discuss why he did it.

A TV personality that hosts Ancient Aliens. We've been posting his photo in the game thread.

How did you determine that WK was on the receiving end of our day action?

Randomized from a list of survivors (blues), using random.org

All day actions were pre-determined, than whether or not they happened was randomizedm using a 1/2 list from random.org, and selecting an "action number."

The abduction and kill % chances were completed and decided on using random.org as well.

I was contemplating whether to push the note I got about shad being bad. Seemed too good to be true, but at the same time, if true, I didn't want to pass it up. Figured I'd put it out there, but wanted to see how people would react to some things, so I made up the Shad thing and his awesome dance. That, and it entertained me.

One of the things I like to do, as mod at least, is include tangibles in the game. I did it a bit with STW2, the objects and stuff. It gets hard to keep track of.

It's also a good part of letting people get creative. Everyone was willing to get creative with the material they'd been given, and I think that lended to a lot of the enjoyability.

I seriously have to thank Shad and THG (at least at the beginning of the game) for getting me through this role. But it was soooooo much fun.

No, there was never any interaction with obhave.

As well, mac's thing about "intercepting" messages was false as well.

Both plays were true genius, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them unfold, and the responses they got. :thumb:

I believed that obhave was blue until she came out with that story. After that I thought she could be red.

Shad, did you ever tell IE that you had reason to believe THG was bad? Doc, do you want to post the message you sent Shad that he shared with me?

Immediately after you died, I implored IE to realize that THG was bad. I knew he purposely encouraged you to try and abduct Redwill because he knew you would get killed.

No...he was a UFO Skeptic

He also seemed skeptical about being in the game, but that's another story. :pop:
