if they don't get a late goal in the second, this could get ugly

fleury needs to the shut the door now. it sounds like there is some life in the pens. the scoresheet is showing a dramatic increase in shots on goal

now they need for Mullen to chew some buttocks in the locker room and come out with a quick one in the third!

WBS will not win the AHL title with Joe Mullen running the bench. He was an abysmal failure in the NHL as a coach, does anyone really expect him to get the most out of our top guys.

Therrien's down there, isn't he? let him give an inspirational speech... or maybe call out a few guys in the press.

I think Mullen feels that Fleury was forced on him, so I can't see him playing him back-to-back. But I agree, throwing him out again would be good. He's a competitor and plays better when given a second shot at a team.

But I think we'll see Sabu the rest of the series.

Fleury should start every game. WBS and their fans must understand that they are strictly a development organization and must do what's best for their parent team.

43 shots perhaps, but Pens did not have many scoring opportunities at all. Actually, Bridgeport had about twice as much. I felt the Penguins were simply outplayed except for a couple of PPs in the 3rd.

Sound Tigers played a lot smarter. It will be tough to overcome 2-0 deficit. They need somebody to step it up. They desperately need to win game 3 or it's pretty much over.

As for Endicott, I felt he was terrible in that game. He even blew the SH 2-on-1 (with his "assist"), but he had stars aligned the right way - the puck was deflected in by the skate of a Sound Tiger defenseman.
