Forward Kurtis McLean has been recalled from loan to the Wheeling Nailers, it was announced on Saturday.
McLean , 25, has appeared in 41 games for Wheeling this season, placing third on the team 56 points (31+25) as of March 31. He was assigned to the Nailers on March 24, and recorded 10 points (6+4) in six games during his most recent stint with the team.
The 5-11, 175 pound native of Kirkland Lake, Ontario has appeared in 27 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, recording 12 points (3+9) and a plus-5 rating.
McLean was signed by the Penguins as a free agent on Sept. 29, 2005.
