Updated PPG Standings w/82-Game Pace

Post by RW »

Hey. Sorry. That "code" feature isn't working for me, so I'm stuck with the ugly table below. Here is the new 82-game pace for every team in the East.

Team PPG Pace
Buffalo 1.396 114
New Jersey 1.308 107
Atlanta 1.222 100
Montreal 1.192 98
Ottawa 1.170 96
Pittsburgh 1.160 95
Tampa Bay 1.094 90
Toronto 1.077 88
Carolina 1.074 88
NY Rangers 1.059 87
NY Islanders 1.059 87
Boston 0.960 79
Florida 0.943 77
Washington 0.942 77
Philadelphia 0.608 50

Biggest Movers since last week:
Pittsburgh +4
Toronto +4
Tampa Bay +3
NY Islanders +3
Philadelphia +3

Boston -7
Carolina -5
Atlanta -3

Nice, Hopefully they don't go on a 4 game losing streak now.

Prediction.

Ottawa finishes with the third best record in the East behind Buffalo and just a couple point behind New Jersey.

95 points... wow. Completely NOT where I thought they would be. Even if they stink it up from here on out, they should easily hit 85 points. Still ahead of the ~80 points I thought they would get. again... just WOW

He seems to be a true clutch player - i.e. his push to 100 points last season. Happy times!
Crosby was a -3 yesterday.

He would have been even if all of his assists weren't on PP goals.

You do realize that if the Pens reach 95 points this season then MT might possibly win coach of the year.
Why not? The Pens are the most improved team in the NHL from last season. Way ahead of last years point total.
