As I stated above things are moving very fast. I think a lot is going to happen by mid season. One thing that can hold that off is that Daenerys wasn't in this episode so they will be heavy on her next week thereby taking time away from other characters. We may even get a full episode with Jon tossed in there. These things can slow it down if they wanted to.

Last night was a great cliffhanger and I expect to not see Jamie/Brienne next week.
I thought I saw Jamie and Brienne in the previews for next week's episode.

I'm really hoping they have 1 or 2 episodes primarily focusing on 1 story arch. I think Blackwater was one of the best episodes because it was focused on 1 event. It lead to better story progression.
I don't watch the peek of the next week's episodes of any show. If the show is good enough that i'm gonna watch it, i'm gonna watch it. I don't feel any desire to get a peek at what is coming up.

Storm of Swords is being split in two seasons. They can slow things down a lot.

Another great episode, big improvement though 2 episodes compared to last season.

I feel like I just watched it again because I had to do a recap of it last night. Its so easy to forget entire storylines when doing such a thing.

Will anything ever happen in the Jon Snow story arc? Dude is annoying as hell.

Interesting. Why's that? Seems all that happens is a lot of pointless wandering around in the cold.

People need to realize that the plot doesn't even really get set until the end of Storm of Swords (so basically sometime this season or the next). Give it time....

As opposed to a lot of pointless wandering around in the moderate temperatures?

No, it gets very, very interesting in the last two books. I'm not too sure how they'll play it out in the TV series, buy the Wall storyline is great.

The Wall storyline is the most important part of the entire plot. Patience...

I haven't read the books, I still find everything that has happened to him interesting though. You can cherry pick large parts of any storyline and say that nothing is happening in them.

Daenerys for instance. Her story in the TV show bores me. If I hadn't read the books I would be hopeful for bad things to happen to her.

Haha, I have no interest in that story other than seeing the visual effects on the dragons...or are those real dragons? If so, they are well trained.

I have read the books and I hate the Jon Snow storyline as well. Arya & Tyrion >>> all.

My favorite thing about Sam is that you could watch an episode(that Sam was in) on mute without trying to read lips, and when someone said the name Sam, you would know exactly which character it was.

I say Ghost comes thru to save him in time for either Coldhands or Uncle Benjen (or are they the same!?!) to take him on some epic beyond the wall adventure in book 6 :scared:

Melisandre will burn the wounds shut, bring him back to life and now he will be Jon Stark, Lord of Winterfell. He will then go down south, meet Stannis and Mance at Winterfell, see that it was all a ploy to get him free from his vows and then carry on to Dorne where he meets up with his aunt and half-brother and their dragons and then conquer/save all of Westeros.
