They used a banjo on that (the Tuesday's Gone cover)?

If so, they did a fairly good job of not making it sound like a banjo.

Yep. The first lead is a banjo at the beginning of the song.

During his live recent performances, he has become fond of telling a story.
I have been playing the banjo for 50 years, but have only been performing within the last 5 years.

That’s actually a big adjustment. You know, some nights I play fantastic; I do great. Sometimes I play fine (meh). A couple of weeks ago I saw Eric Clapton play live. And I thought, "He’s not that funny".

I've seen some footage of SM playing the banjo before. Very impressive. Awesome guy all around. I'm more into the folksy stuff, so that's right up my alley.

The Avett Brothers know their way around a banjo.

The new Weezer album is good. I never thought I'd say that sentence again after some of the **** they've put out recently.

I think overproduced fluff is my impression.

Speaking of the Avett Bros. My girl re-did this song a little bit and has been closing her unplugged show with this.

At Billboard, Jillian Mapes declares it the best Weezer album since Maladroit, stating "A handful of tracks strewn with cheesy metaphors shows the impersonality that mars Cuomo's post-Pinkerton songwriting, despite some redeeming musical qualities that reaffirm Weezer as a purveyor of feedback and fuzz
This was from the wiki on the album. It probably best sums up Cuomo and Weezer's post Pinkerton output.

The first time I saw Foo Fighters, Weezer opened. They were surprisingly good, considering I'm not a fan.

The lyrics on the new one have some moments of sincerity, or atleast more than the last 4 releases did. It's a step forward after about 10 steps back.

The 2015 Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame nominee list is impressive.

N.W.A., Green Day, Nine Inch Nails, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Lou Reed; The Smiths; The Spinners, Sting, Chic, Kraftwerk, The Marvelettes, Bill Withers, War, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.

Green Day

A band that got big when I was in high school is nominated for the hall of fame. Ouch...

How is SRV not inducted already? First ballot?
