I wasn't able to watch the game since it wasn't broadcast in my area, but it seems the game turned after a questionable 5 minute major assessed to Penn State. Was anyone at the game and able to give an honest opinion of the call and how both teams played?

I didn't watch the game, but it definitely turned after a questionable 5 minute major penalty...

lol, that's all the PSU coach had to say in this article:

http://www.centredaily.com/2014/12/30/4 ... .html?rh=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
“That was the game,” coach Guy Gadowsky said. “We watched it over and over, and we’re going to tell Nate Jensen to make that exact play the exact same way every single time.”

Ferguson and Rey then found the net 30 seconds apart on the power play, peppering goalie Eamon McAdam with shots for the duration of the five minutes.

“The whole game was a five-minute major,” coach Guy Gadowsky said. “I thought Eamon battled hard, made some great saves, and when one went in, I thought he’d probably want the second one back. Obviously a little frustration showed the way the game took a drastic turn.”
That said, sounded like it was a fun game to watch.

Penn State just dominating Michigan State tonight. The first line led by Bailey has been a nightmare for MSU all game long. With the win Penn State will leapfrog Michigan for first place in the B1G.

I hope RMU and PSU play each other every season going forward. It's a fun rivalry and I like both programs.

I went to the game last night and you're right, it was completely one-sided for basically the entire game. Even when Michigan St took the lead, Penn St seemed to control the play. Fun game to watch

So awesome that they're playing good hockey this year. Definitely will instill confidence in any recruits that are considering coming here.

I think they are very close to receiving a spot in the tourney, which would be a huge boost. It would be even more fun if they face RMU at some point.

Can't stand the fact that Penn State got a decent hockey team this quick all because of their name. Hard to respect them when so many other smaller schools have worked their asses off to build strong programs when they were basically gifted everything they have.
