Agreed. I guess I'm thinking, "why bother making that list?"

Re: Let's talk about music
Machine Head demo "Pins and Needles" (2002) recently released in its entirety.

Terrible lyrically, but I love the music. After leaving Roadrunner, Machine Head wrote a radio single hoping to get signed, and Robb Flynn came up with this song. He hated the vocals/lyrics, so it was never released.
Fortunately, the music was used for the Roadrunner United song "Army of the Sun", and Tim Williams of Vision of Disorder and Bloodsimple just killed the song.

After reading this writeup, the Nickelback/Bush tour from 2012 now makes sense.

I wonder what "Trent Resnor" thinks of this story almost 25 years later.![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Re: Let's talk about music
I might have mentioned this in the thread before, but I collect old records.
I guess in some form I have been collecting all my life, when I was a little kid my Mom had to post the times I was allowed to listen to my records on the fridge so I didn't drive her nuts with it (also, helped me learn to tell time). When I lived in Boston 15 or 20 years ago I started hitting up the used record stores. My niche has sort of become 50s and 60s jazz, particularly Dave Brubeck Quartet. I am currently thinking about expanding to some 60s soul stuff, particularly Stax. I have also stopped just picking up something because I don't have it, it has to be an original, or close to original pressing (in the case of Brubeck's Columbia stuff for example it has to have the six Columbia "eyes" on the label).
I like it as a hobby because it can be as cheap or expensive as you want it to be, most cities I visit have a used record shop to check out, and I can always, always, always, find some old junk to buy.
Anyone else collect vinyl?

http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/ ... hella-2014" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Sources tell Billboard that Andre 3000 and Big Boi are in prolonged talks to end their hiatus next year.
Outkast has long been the subject of reunion rumors ever since Andre "Andre 3000" Benjamin and Antwan "Big Boi" Patton put their Grammy-winning duo on hiatus in 2007. Could 2014 at long last be the year that the Mighty O becomes whole again?
The Atlanta hip-hop duo is indeed in talks to reunite next year for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, multiple sources have confirmed to Billboard. Under the current plan, Coachella, which kicks off on Apr. 11, 2014 in Indio, Calif., would be the start of the reunion run and would be followed by additional festival dates in 2014.
One source tells Billboard that there have definitely been "some conversations" about Outkast reuniting, while another says it is "all systems go" for Big Boi and Andre 3000 to end their hiatus next year. A rep for Outkast did not comment for this story, while reps for their current label home, Epic, as well as Coachella organizer Goldenvoice, did not respond to request for comment at press time.
