Re: Let's talk about music
Joni Mitchell albums from worst to best. I love Hejira, but I wouldn't rate it ahead of Court & Spark, Blue and The Hissing Of Summer Lawns. I also think that Turbulent Indigo is a little underrated.

I love that album, but best all time? Is it even the Smiths' best album?

This won't be a popular sentiment amongst of few here, but I never could stand that Smith singer's voice.

I didn't really care for her most recent album. But yeah, she is looking quite thin...FreeCandy44 wrote:I always liked her music.....JS© wrote:Fiona Apple looking rough these days. Pic posted on Cracked.com from one of her recent outburst, and I honestly thought it was Steve Buscemi.

She's probably happy that they record the same album over and over again.Froggy wrote:staff top 10's make me sad.columbia wrote:The Smiths' 'The Queen Is Dead' tops NME's list of 500 greatest albums of all time

Guessing they predominantly played from the new album? Was it crowded?

Not at all crowded.
Probably 20 songs. 7 new ones. How EB doesn't make that sort of cut I have no idea. Though they generally seemed to move away from the really old stuff like Engwish Bwudd and Van Helsing Jukebox.

Re: Let's talk about music
So ive heard Slayer (whom is coming to stage ae in November) is playing a "old school set" on there most current tour. If this holds true, i might have to venture dahn to the North Shore. I know the setlist is on setlist.fm, but im to lazy to link it.

I'm trying to decide if my 30 year old body can handle Slayer and Killswitch Engage/Lamb of God in the span of 5 days.

A 30 year old body can handle anything. A 40 year old body, on the other hand...

Re: Let's talk about music
I've never been to Stage AE so I wasn't sure how it was set up. I hate to be that guy, but I'd probably be the guy in the back just nodding my head along at this point. Too old and too frail to go in any pits haha.FreeCandy44 wrote:Sit in the bleachers on the second level.skullman80 wrote:I'm trying to decide if my 30 year old body can handle Slayer and Killswitch Engage/Lamb of God in the span of 5 days.
