Touring band is a great DVD. But yeah I totally get it and Eddie seems like a genuinely great guy as well as the rest of the band.

Agreed. I suppose they were originally ferocious hc but not very interesting.

I suppose the difference is that The Replacements were a rock and roll band (and appreciated the history there within), whereas HD was just a bad punk band.

Sort of like Nirvana vs most of their Seattle contemporaries.

There is a version of In Utero out there with a supposed original Steve Albini mix...I couldn't reay tell much of a difference.

I dig that old school country stuff. Remember back in HS driving around in friends' crappy cars, spotting deer (when in rome.... grew up in hickville) playing an old Hank Williams Sr greatest hits cassette tape on back roads at night during the summer. Will always associate those songs with those times.
