Gotta act fast in fantasy -- the wait and see game doesn't work.

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
Speaking of that.... Slava Voynov.. why is he barely getting PP time now? And way down on the LA icetime depth chart. Hate to make rash moves, but Giordano might not be available much longer. At least he gets minutes to produce.

Taylor Hall is seriously damaging several of my teams! Gert your act in gear boy!
And, I was actually glad to land Claude Giroux at #7 overall in one of my leagues and now I'm like WTF was I thinking? He's got to turn something on eventually, right?

Brad Marchand, let me count the ways you suck this year.
Nah, I can't count that high.

Desperate for goalie starts? Pekka Rinne will be out a month with a hip injury. I believe that Carter Hutton and Magnus Hellberg will assume the duties in the coming weeks.

Cam Ward, same deal. Out 3-4 weeks. Seek their backups Rinne owners.

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
Re: Faulk. The best player of the bunch, but might be in the toughest situation tonight. The Avs have been stingy all year and one might expect Faulk to be a minus tonight -> he leads the club in ES TOI but the Canes without Ward and Khudobin will go to Colorado (where they have never won before) and try to win it with either their third or fourth string goalie in the nets. If this isn't a lineup question, but an add/drop question, then Faulk is the Canes #1 d-man and he's the only one that has or will have that designation.
Krug gets softer minutes and PP time on a better team. Rielly isn't top PP and probably won't get too strong of a look at it until/unless a similar player in Jake Gardiner is moved.
It depends on what you're looking for exactly, but Faulk will log the most time and have the most freedom. Krug has a good team and gets soft minutes with good players and the team around him has limited puck skills on the back end, so he plays on the PP a lot.

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
Yeah, sorry should've specified. It was an add/drop thing. I'll probably stick with Faulk, but it's disheartening that he's not getting #1 unit PP time. I can see Murphy getting more time, but Sekera I don't particularly understand.

I have Krug on multiple teams and I'm happy with the production from a D man

Re: Fantasy Hockey Forum
Should I drop Gonchar? Couple his age with his penchant for struggling in his first year on a team and note his declining powerplay icetime, and the answer must be yes, right?
Defensemen points are worth 15% more and blocked shots have nice value (though that may seem irrelevant to this conversation, Gonchar has been quite strong in that department since things clicked with MT).
Keep 17. Gonchar was one of my keepers.

Gonchar has been brutal this year. Things might get a little better now that I don't see him out with Goligoski as much, but bleh, it hasn't been pretty.

I'd probably be dropping him for Sbisa, Hejda, or Ballard.

It's extremely annoying, and I have had it not save lineups properly because of its autosave function.
I do appreciate being able to switch to the white background--it was hard to line everything up with the dark spread.

The Pens need to put Rob Scuderi on IR. He's killing my bench because it won't let me put him on IR
