Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Sgt. Slaughter was interviewed by a San Francisco radio station and said the fans reaction to Bryan being eliminated in the Rumble was because they couldn't chant "yes" anymore. He said that the chant is what's over, not Bryan. That's why the fans didn't accept Reigns as the winner. Because they like chanting Yes.
Now, Slaughter hasn't been a producer with WWE since 2009 but I'm sure his views are shared by many higher ups. They failed to mention why the Yes chant couldnt get Big Show or Brie over, though. If it's all just the chant people like, they should have Reigns take it. See how that goes.

^ and I'd almost guarantee every time they get te crowd to parrot "9.99" they take that as a sign the network is a huge success. But when people chant for the talent? Gotta be cuz they just love chanting things

Sgt. Slaughter knows not to bite the hand that feeds him and on the other hand there's a reason why guys like CM Punk and Dave Batista don't wan't to be associated with this garbage.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Nothing interesting till towards the end when you hear them discuss how the interview went and Bryan asks if it sounded good. Just crazy how controlled things are even in little interviews like that.

Maybe the announcement is that Shane McMahon is taking over creative and we don't have to endure this much longer.

-- "Roman just got screwed ya'll"
-- Authority shaming Reigns into voluntarily going against the odds...
--While a truly over wrestler (Daniel Bryan) props him up
Where oh where have I see this before??
