Holy effing crap. This is incredible. Kayfabe is extinct. Vince just basically said the Undertaker realized losing to Brock would be best for business. They've been alluding to booking decisions, and Vince just admitted he made the final decision on the match.

We obviously know wrestling is scripted, but this is shocking.

I never thought I'd see Vince do a shoot interview. He was surprisingly forthcoming with information, and held back where appropriate. Not only did Vince say that Undertaker realized it was best for business and it was time to do the job, he called Undertaker "Mark Calloway." He referred to HHH as "Paul." Kayfabe wasn't just killed, it was brutally murdered by its creator.

And Austin was intense. He made Vince repeat the fact that Punk was a hard worker. He made damn sure Macho Man was going into the HOF. He called him out on his bs. I'm excited for it to be put up for download on the podcast so I can listen again.

It'd be great if this was a monthly special for Austin. Not just with Vince. A HHH and/or Stephanie one would be amazing. Cena would be great. Basically anybody. Hell, I'd watch him talk shop with the production crew for an hour.

Was this a Network exclusive or will Stone Cole be uploading this to PodcastOne?

It seems like it'll be on his podcast. Austin said near the end of the interview "We got 1 minute left on the Network and I want to keep you on to answer this question for my podcast."

And of course, Vince replied "Since I own the Network, we're gonna go 15 more minutes." It was awesome.

Cesaro might be quite good in the ring, but he is extremely boring. Until he figures out a way to be "not boring" he will not be a top guy.

what is boring about Cesaro? Promo wise? I mean they don't give him a chance to cut promo's really, and when they do the stuff they give him to say... awful.

Dude has one of the best movesets in the entire company. Can have a good match with anyone. I mean he may never be a top card champion guy, but should be mid to upper mid card instead of being used as essentially a jobber.

Guy was over like crazy around WM when he won the andre battle royal and then they completely cut his feet out from under him.

Yeah, Cesaro had a ton of momentum until he got sacked with Heyman. All that amounted to was him standing next to Paul, while Paul bragged about being the 1 behind the 1 in 21-1. Heyman did a great job getting Lesnar *more* over and totally forgot about Cesaro.

Would've been nice to see a Real Americans break-up program instead of Jack "I'm only a face because people hate Russia" Swagger and Cesaro being forgotten about.

Yep they had a built in program with a Cesaro/Swagger break up and feud. They even teased it a bit, but then never went with it.

Cesaro's character is boring so I don't really care too much about him, even when he is in the ring.

His character is (or should be) a guy who is incredibly strong and can go out there and fight anyone. When he has a chance to show off his strength, the people immediately get behind him. The swing was one of the most over moves in WWE but he had to stop doing it because he was getting a babyface response as a heel. Rather than listen to the audience and turn him, WWE had him stop.

Ziggler is kind of the same way. Another guy that could be much higher on the card but isn't, but always puts on a great match.

Seems like he might be getting a push now though. We will see if it lasts.

The WWE's failure to get past the "cheer for the face" and "boo the heal" thing is a different, bigger, matter. A lot of people like the bad guys (in everything).

That's a classic. One thing I just learned recently is the Shockmaster was Fred Ottman. He was in WWE as Tugboat and soon after as Typhoon, one part of the Natural Disasters tag team with Earthquake.

I was a WWE kid growing up, especially in the late 80s to mid 90s, so I missed a BUNCH of this stuff when it happened. WCW always felt "minor league" to me, for some reason. I ask my 10-year-old self this: how can a company be "minor league" when they had Robocop working for them?

Eventually, I want to go through the WCW PPVs on the Network.

Honestly even if he wouldn't have tripped and had his helmet fall off... I mean it still wouldn't have worked. Whoever green lit that thing.. yeesh. It was doomed to fail, the trip and the helmet flying off just added to the absurdity of it all.

And Flair's "I told ya...Oh gawd." And Bulldog's "He fell flat on his arse!"

It's just perfect in every way.
