I would pay money to watch Mick wash dishes.
On a similar note, apparently he lives near where I just graduated from on Long Island.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Did anyone check out TNA last night? I only caught a little of it but they had their show at the infamous Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. Matt Hardy made his debut and I guess the Dudley Boys reunited, but I missed all of that.

He still hasn't signed a contact with WWE from what I read. Which makes no sense, but yeah.Cagsjr724 wrote:So Sting made his official WWE debut today

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I know we ***** about WWE here at times, but TNA is 1000000x worse. How they are still in business baffles me. There was a short period where they actually had a direction, but most of the time.... awful. They are doing an ECW reunion for the 5000th time. They went back to the 6 sided ring which is dumb. For all the stupid stuff and booking decisions WWE does, TNA does them x10000000.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:Did anyone check out TNA last night? That pretty much echos my feelings about TNA. I put in on because they was absolutely nothing on TV last night and turned it off shortly there after.

Yup. My uncle lived in Kings Park for years, he and Mick used to grab coffee at the same diner together for a long timeMalkinIsMyHomeboy wrote:I would pay money to watch Mick wash dishes.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
I think the six sided ring is an interesting look, but that's about it. I heard almost all of the wrestlers hate it because it doesn't allow the same room and causes wrestlers to "bump" differently.skullman80 wrote:I know we ***** about WWE here at times, but TNA is 1000000x worse. I can't keep up with what TNA is doing. The last time I watched, which was maybe in mid-May, Bully Ray was a heel, Gail Kim was a heel, and James Storm was a face. Now they are face, face, heel. They flip-flop wrestlers from face to heel more often than the WWE does with Kane and Big Show. Skullman, it sounds like you watch it more than the rest of us, so maybe you can give an answer on this: Does TNA seem to dump storylines after about 2 months? It just seems as quick as they create a storyline, they are just as quick to dump it.

It's being reported that Spike has informed TNA that they are not renewing their tv contract in October.

The show was good. Mick does a great job telling stories. Also had a meet and greet afterwards.FreeCandy44 wrote:Anyone besides Cerv go see Mick Foley at the Pittsburgh Improv tonight?
Same, both guys are in great shape and I think they can still bring it at a much higher level than they did in their first stint with WWE.Crankshaft wrote:Hopefully the Dudley boys come back to wwe.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Seems like every time I give TNA a chance all the wrestlers do are hit a move and then pose for the camera... then hit a move and pose for the camera, then hit a move and pose for the camera... Yeah, we can tell that you know where the camera is... how about two moves in a row?SolidSnake wrote:TNA will end up on the Oxygen channel

As bad as TNA sucks, less competition for WWE is a bad thing.

Re: The Pro Wrestling Thread
Cena can cut a good promo when he wants to and the writers don't feed him crap lines. I mean it was a bit over the top, but effective.
Cesaro should destroy him, but we know that won't happen haha.

Prince Devitt is officially signed with WWE. This is another MAJOR international talent coming to the WWE. I'm pretty pumped about the next couple years

Great shows of strength but not terribly intriguing overall so far.
