Re: Tombstone Warz Game Thread
So this would lead us to believe that he protected himself on night 1 (if I am reading it correctly. i have been known to fail at reading comprehension in these games).MWB wrote:Kraftster wrote:Well, I guess I've never understood the thinking of protecting yourself on Night 1. In most games the angel cannot protect himself on consecutive nights. If I am red, I always assume that the angel is exposed on even nights because most of the time the angel protects himself on Night 1, thus setting up a 3, 5, 7, etc. protection sequence.
I guess the unstated premise of my conclusion that they are equally likely is "assuming its equally likely that the angel would protect himself or someone else." You guys don't agree with that, and, you're probably right that its more likely the angel protected himself. I just don't see SDD misleading us.
If that's the case, why didn't MWB die on night 1 when it appears that he was the target?
I don't want to jump in and vote for our sheriff to be lynched just yet but it's odd to me.

Quoted to add emphasis and to avoid editing a post in a warz game.PensFanInDC wrote:So this would lead us to believe that he protected himself on night 1 (if I am reading it correctly. i have been known to fail at reading comprehension in these games).MWB wrote:Kraftster wrote:Well, I guess I've never understood the thinking of protecting yourself on Night 1. I think shad and pfidc are making too much of it, and scream red.

lynch pfidc
If i was bad and did something like that it and it backfired i'd handle it the exact way pfidc is.

How can I make too much out of someone not dying who was most likely not saved by the angel. Seems like a rather major event in the game IMO

First paragraph says what he would do. Second says what he thinks a lot of others do.PensFanInDC wrote:Quoted to add emphasis and to avoid editing a post in a warz game.PensFanInDC wrote:So this would lead us to believe that he protected himself on night 1 (if I am reading it correctly. i have been known to fail at reading comprehension in these games).MWB wrote:Kraftster wrote:Well, I guess I've never understood the thinking of protecting yourself on Night 1. Perhaps MWB had immunity for a few nights when he was elected sheriff?

Re: Tombstone Warz Game Thread
I just think we're making way too much of MWB's non-kill. Kraft (from this post and the other one), it's clear Krafster didn't go protect him. I think night one was predetermined non-kill.Kraftster wrote:This was my thought also. I just do not believe SDD's intentional use of blue was designed to confuse. I'm reading it as its written. MWB is blue, i.e., not the angel.TheHammer24 wrote:Lynch Willie Kool
Take that!
I suppose I started the MWB is blue trend. Regardless, at least almost certainly know he's good, and we didn't know that about the other 14 people. Also, beyond MWB being the angel, being protected by the angel, or being a protected red, isn't it possible that the game was predetermined not to have a kill on night one so we could have a sheriff? Maybe that would be an unfair twist.
Don't really get the redwill votes.
My list:
1) Redwill
2) PFDIC/Shad
Redwill is coming out guns blazing at MWB. The only way you'd be afraid of MWB is if you were a red and couldn't figure out why he didn't die when you killed him. I think Shad and PFDIC fit this mold too.

Honestly, that's been my fear too. This is a new situation that I've been apart of, so getting that vote out there has potential to clear a guy almost automatically by making him a group appointed role.Gaucho wrote:Gaucho wrote:I sure hope the reds didn't pull a kill & protect on one of their own and then managed to get the same guy appointed sheriff.
