I would be, if:

A) It wasn't against the Pens
B) He had a playoffs like 2008 and not 2009 or some other years. No going along for the ride, Hossa. With the salary he commands, wherever he goes it's pretty likely that the team he is on doesn't win the SCF unless he's a contributor. Let's face it: if he shows up in the SCF, Detroit likely takes the series instead of the Pens. He didn't, and they didn't.

I didn't hate him for leaving anyway, and to me he's just another opponent to be dealt with.

I have the same exact feelings.

As long as he didn't win it with Detroit, and he didn't do it against the Pens, and he contributed during the playoffs, I would be happy for him.

I always like him as a player, and I didn't mind his decision last year. The only thing that bothered me was him saying it in the media.

I like the Hawks. They are in a handful of teams that I wouldn't mind seeing win the Cup if the Pens don't do it. If Hossa can help lead them to one in the next 5 years, I would be happy for him and the Hawks.
