I think they would notice because he's not currently on the Pittsburgh roster. He signed with the Wings last summer. I don't think the league would let him switch teams. You have to wait till after the playoffs before a trade can be made.

Yeah... this thread rules. Hossa coming back to Pittsburgh, in a Wings jersey, in the Stanley Cup Finals, one year after being the image of the heartbreak of the '08 Finals...

Hearing that crowd when he touches the puck for the first time will be another reason.

Seeing slouched along the boards again this year... I can't imagine how good that would feel. Go Pens!

After 80 pages I must finally post in this thread, specially since its now back in Penguins section!

So I hope pens show Hossa what a mistake he made. And also I want to point and laugh at him when Pens win. This with me knowing my brother and my friend that are wings fan will probably beat me for "rubbing" it in. But it will be worth it.

i don't blame hossa for leaving, and i don't feel betrayed. i just feel that what he did is tacky as hell, and an attempt to take a short cut to a championship. i think the pens beating the wings in this series would just prove to him that there are no short cuts in hockey. i would like to point and laugh at him slouched over on the ice after they lose for this reason and this reason alone.
