any other opinion's on breakfast beer's?
Guinness is as good for you for breakfast as sausage gravy and biscuits. You make the call. (Anybody?)

There is no other breakfast beer that I can think of.

well, the moment is near. hopefully i get out of there spending less than $60 on two cases.

might end up getting some bombay sapphire at some point this weekend too (though i'm more a whiskey/bourbon drinker). that should ensure that i have enough alcohol in the house.

the magic hat participation case comes with participation lager, #9, Circus Boy and Jinx. i'm stopping by my brother-in-law's to sell him 6 or so dogfish heads and if i do that, it'll've been about $60 er, uh, just under $70.

thanks for the suggestions, yo.

I may have had this once... Maybe a light beer, smooth, not a ton of flavor. Not sure though.

Hey, it has to come across the country from Southern California...even now, that still ain't cheap!

Brew Your Own magazine did an article on 2008 hop acreage, and while it's increased (mostly for high-alpha) hops, it's going to be another year before that increased acreage lowers hop prices (hop plants generally take 2 years to start producing useful cones)....we're looking at another year of hops at $20-30 a pound....once again, not cheap, and Stone certainly uses their fair share of hops!

The Punkin Ale is as good a pumpkin beer as there is out there. I'm honestly not a big fan of Magic Hat (think they're more style than substance), but if you enjoy it, it's always a good deal!

A bit late to the party, but my personal favorite is Victory's Golden Monkey. A Belgian trippel Ale and 9.5% alcohol. Good stuff.

i see. well, my tastes change fairly quickly. i'm surely into #9 for now. it made me interested to try some other magic hat's. so far, the participation lager is a negative in my book. unreasonably bitter. i'll let you know what i think about the other two i got.

the two punk ales i've had were nice.
