I wish him the best, and still believe it was in the best interests of the Penguins to let him go....I can't hate a player for turning money down for a chance at a championship....not many athletes like that anymore.

Let him go??????

Surprising because I find this thread more important than the election.

If tha Erf gets swallowed up by a new black hole, it won't be because of the hadron collider, or Collider, it'll be because HOssa to DET was NPRed.

I was so hoping that HOssa was going to be delivering my tickets to my house. I had a bungie pit filled with fire ants ready for him. Now, it's just another way to upset the UPS guy.

I doubt Hossa was trying to make the Penguins look bad, but when the Slovak star told the Detroit media he signed with the Red Wings because he wanted to win a Cup, you have to wonder how that made the captain of the Penguins feel just weeks after Pittsburgh lost to Detroit in the Stanley Cup finals.

"I thought about the same thing, but I think the most important thing when you hear that is you have to put yourself in his shoes," Crosby said. "He's looking at a team that won the Stanley Cup, which isn't losing anyone, and then adds himself -- a world-class player. And they just beat us. So really, if you look on paper and you had to answer the same question, which team would you pick? That's fine. All [the] other 29 teams don't go into the season saying Detroit is going to win. It's not the way it works

He should be wearing a cup no matter which team he's playing.

Not even close and Philly is now immigrating my way big time. More shootings and robberies the last two weeks than last year. I hope I can make it another 9 years, retire and move.

Only if you ask the all-knowing Bob Smizik.
