Thanks to this thread, you will never, ever, ever, ever, never ever, never, never, ever, ever lose those memories.
Jimmy the facts behind the storyline are clear. We rented Hossa. He played the Pens like a cheap date. The Pen's offered him a good life/contract long term. He played the field, made his own contacts and picked immediate gratification. He will forever live in Pens history. May he be happy, but he's dead here.

I guarantee that after a couple of years, the Hossa story is totally forgotten about. Especially if the Pens have a good year and a good offseason pickup.

Can't everyone (lots of posters, at least) just admit they want the thread to continue? :)

It'll be the August highlight.

I just don't see the problem with it living on until the real news starts up again. Until training camp, there is nothing happening anyways.

So with Hossa and Crosby, who else should be on our top line this season?

at least until February, when Hossa comes back to Pittsburgh.

I'm still not sure if this thread > Racchi's Rug thread.

I think the Racchi's Rug thread is smaller than this. Racchi's Rug died in NPR obscurity, which is where this thread should go.
