Wheeling Nailers raise ticket prices AGAIN!

Post by Jim »

The Nailers have again driven up the prices to attend games. Another $0.75 gone...

100's sections (including glass) are now up to $14.00
200's center are up to $15.00
200's ends are up to $13.00
300's center are up to $13.00
300's ends are up to $12.00
And there is a "new" price level, 300's ends CORNERS are $10.00

I remember when you could sit on the glass for $10.50! Bleeden me dry I tell ya!

Actually, a bit of confusion... When you go to the individual ticket page, it has different prices, $1 higher yet...:

100's sections (including glass) are now up to $15.00 ($14.00)
200's center are up to $16.00 ($15.00)
200's ends are up to $14.00 ($13.00)
300's center are up to $14.00 ($13.00)
300's ends are up to $13.00 ($12.00)
And the "new" price level, 300's ends CORNERS are not there at all ($10.00)

That would mean a $1.75 increase.

Jeez. First they deceive the public regarding promotions constantly and now they raise ticket prices. Real fan friendly.

I posted a few months back about how they screwed people who drove from Pittsburgh by limiting Lemieux bobbleheads to something like 1,500 and never advertising it. (April 2005)

Also, did the same thing with "Ric Flair Night" 2003 (although I wasn't there and I know nothing about that.)

I didn't like the "nesting-doll" thing they did a few years back. We went expecing to get the dolls, and here we got just ONE of the different sizes. You had to go to three seperate games to get the three pieces to the nesting doll.

Now that's just weak. Man. I have a Lemieux nesting doll from a Pens game and it came complete.
