has anyone tried to answer the original question? Does Recchi wear a rug to cover his balding scalp? Personally, I haven't seen him off the ice so I can't really say one way or the other. I would guess no, because he's not balding that badly and plus, he may prefer going bald over wearing a rug.

I checked NHL.com, and it looks like Racchi and his rug each have their own separate contracts. (no link, I'm too busy  ) Unfortunately, it looks as if they share the same agent...so it would have to be a package deal for the two of them. It would've been sweet to deal Racchi but keep the rug (for organizational depth at wing). Oh well.
What a great place this is, that Malkin's hair can keep us informed of Racci's rug. ;)

Hopefully, ron_duguays_hair will add something as well...
I just hope that Val Fontaine's or Noel Price's hair doesn't show up on this board.

The rug will never leave LGP. They will have to pry the thread from the cold dead server.

Will there be a Racchi's Rug giveaway to accompany the bobblehead this Monday, or will this be listed on a seperate game?

Admin has contributed to this thread as recently as a few hrs ago, so I'm not sure that's gonna happen.

Besides, don't you realize your post bumped this to the top of the page? Admit it, there is love for Racchi's Rug.

This is up there with the Madden "Carp at a Spillway" thread as one of my all time favorites...can anyone think of any other classic threads that have graced the board?

The one where someone posted a pic of a monkey that looked like Malkin was awesome - and the one where someone inquired about which actors could be cast to play the role as Penguin players was great too...

When this thread first started, I hated it with all my heart. Unfortunately it has spread like a fungus to the point that I love it with all my heart. Here's to Racci's rug!

I don't know why, but I loathe this thread, so I'm taking a poll: who thinks I should fall to the dark side, abuse my authority, and lock this thread (or delete it altogether!) so it can never come back?

I'm kidding, of course. (No I'm not. I mean it. This thread must die.)

And at the time of this post, it was only 4th or 5th thread from the top, so it's not really getting any additional play from me bumping it. :P

You're only allowed to lock Racchi's Rug, if you lock the I like Tater Tots thread as well :P

For the greater good, I'd be willing to make that sacrifice.

Sorry guys, but I just had to bump this earlier. Someone linked it as an example of stupidity in an other thread yesterday and I couldn't stop laughing.

The fact people refuse to overlook is that he is under contract, is working but not producing offensively. Move him you could end up with someone elses problem that does nothing positive for this team and you still have the contract dollars to deal with in return.
