The 2027 pick is an asset that can be traded at any time, so I'm not too concerned about that. And. we're not going anywhere anytime soon anyways.

We certainly do.

I also view Hayes and Eller as both being capable 3rd line guys if their minutes are managed so we will probably see the bottom 6 get an equal amount of ice time which is good. We have enough decent wings to play that way too.

Wouldn’t mind a big trade sending EK out to a contender and getting back a young top 6 forward. I think it’s obvious that EK has to go. We are not building a competitor and EK isn’t part of the core.
