This is where the season ends. The Leafs are just grinding the Pens into dust. They're both faster and more physical. The Pens can't even clear their own zone. This is like watching a snuff film.

Yeah, this is what I said in another thread earlier today and got some (good natured) schtick for saying I wasn't sure the Pens could keep getting results against good teams, because it didn't seem like they could hang when the good teams really turn it on. Tonight is another example of that, but I hope they prove me wrong.

I mean they can still win a couple of the remaining critical games so it isn't completely finished at this stage, but anyone who thinks a team that has been as bad as they've been is going to go 6-0-2 and then add another 5-0 run to finish the season is kidding themselves. I think if they win the 2x 4 point games, hold out to get a point here and win one of the other two, they could do it and THAT i think is doable.

Or, you could just cheer for your team to win! This one is not over yet.

Hell if they steal 2 here that'd be a great start and ease it a bit. Not sure where you got not rooting for them from anything I said. Don't see them winning 5 more but taking 2 here would be a huge start.
