Strong Period in every phase.Attention to detail was there. All 4 Lines were effective.Defensemen were sharp.
Ned made a couple of solid stops,no bad rebounds at all.
PP still the weak spot.Still can't get enough pressure generated.Looking to pass instead of shooting.
Sid showed the rest of the team what they need to do today.Intensity and purpose.
The transition game was excellent, many good chances from this.Just have to finish.

Incredible 40 goals at 36. Pretty sure that's a pretty small group historically. Only his 3rd 40+ season. A true marvel.

They got Shea-Stivany pinned a couple times but they didn’t panic and just made sure they kept the play at the boards until a forward could come and get the puck out.

I don’t know who the color commentator is but the only penalty that’s automatic is puck over the glass.

Amazing the Pens are close to making the playoffs with the 31st ranked power play. Wonder how often that happens.

Did I hear that right...1 SOG on 2 power plays ? If so, pathetic.

77 games in and the PP still offers nothing,Way too much perimeter stuff instead of going with simple basic attempts to get shots on net.

Look at the Pens making simple plays and putting pucks on net!

I still think if this team makes the playoffs, they are going to struggle with depth when any injuries occur...but a lot of times, playoff success if getting hot at the right time. If they can keep up this strong play through the last 6 games...maybe they can actually do some post-season damage.

Ek has had a great game so far. 2 assists. Also sprung Bemstrom on the breakaway.

Playing a smart game.

The attention to detail,Intensity and focus are all there right now.Ned being steady in net has made a big difference.

I guess we can’t get a 3rd PP before TB gets their first.

So by any interpretation of the rules, grabbing a players jersey to hold him back when it’s fully visible is a penalty. Choosing to not call it because of some ancient code of fairness officials still have is garbage.

Where's the trip? The Ref waits until the dog pile in front of the net to call this.

Can't have the calls go lopsided.
