Puljujarvi looks good on the forecheck, doesn’t back away from contact. Actually initiates it.

Puustinen, Poulin, Zohorna, White and Hinistroza all bring more to the table even on the 4th line than Harkins does.

The Bison! He’s a big boy. Should think about using him as a net front presence on our putrid power play.

Would definitely give that a look.He would create a tough screen for the Goaltender to deal with.

That would make too much sense.

From training camp on they were determined to have Harkins as a guy who gets dressed every night.
As You correctly stated all those other players are clearly better and 2 of them(Puustinen + Poulin) should be on the ice every night IMHO.

Am I the only one disappointed in EK? His stupid passes are head scratchers. Nice there by Jarry.

It’s a coaching issue. The guy just didn’t forget how to play hockey after being traded here.

The 4th line does absolutely nothing for this team. I posted in one of the other threads earlier that Harkins, Carter, Hinostroza, Nieto, and Acciari are the 5 worst Corsi players on the team. Acciari is close to going under 40% which is atrocious. They aren't controlling play when they are on the ice, they aren't limiting shots or chances, they aren't physical.

Might as well just call them The Breather Line...simply there to give the other 9 forwards a breather.

This. 1000% this. The guy's been a Norris winner and finalist, a PP specialist, and yet, he comes here and suddenly he stinks on the PP (that everyone else here stinks at too) and you never see him playing "his game" at 5v5.

The boneheaded passes are part of his game, but when he isn't allowed to play his game in this system, that's all people can focus on.

Pulujujarvi didn't look out of place at all,but in nicely with Eller.
Jarry with some strong saves late in the Period.
Pens had some good looks with guys taking it down the slot.
A ghost session from the 2nd Line outside of getting beat late on their shifts.
Letang with a ton of jump and energy,he had a strong period.

Agree and they simply can't find the right way to use his skill.
For whatever reason the Coaching Staff decided this was the plan for him and it clearly is not.Has to be a high level of frustration for EK.

Its been a terrible decision from the Coaching Staff.Karlsson still has the ability to be a big time difference making player in a positive way but this plan doesn't look like its changing. He is likely frustrated by what they are going with regarding his game.
