And more shifts without Puustinen. If he’s not hurt that’s inexcusable.

They have to get a real D man to play with Karlsson. That pair is way too soft.

PO just said we’ve been a little flat-lined all game.
Way to coach em up and rally the troops Sully

Another uninspired and disinterested period of hockey.Zero energy or intensity.
Graves with as bad a defensive shift as can happen.A season of watching it from him.
Sullivan thinking switching lines and burying Puustinen is a wise move. The awful Offensive effort since then is evidence to the contrary.
Sid with another Goal showcasing his brilliance and ability.
Haven't seen any willingness from this entire group tonight to compete at all.

I'm not even sure why Puustinen is even getting a jersey. Just call up any other Sullivan-esque scrub from the AHL at this point.

Other than his pass to Sid, Bourque not a fan of Karlsson's game lately. "He may have 3 Norris trophies on the mantle, but if he keeps playing like this he'll never have his name on the Stanley Cup".

I think Dubas has seen enough to assess what this team is. Which is the same as last year…
If he still wants to have a chance to make the playoffs, he needs to make a coaching change to light a spark.
We have like $19 in cap space. Hard to make any meaningful trades.
Rip the bandaid off already.
Hockey in Pittsburgh will survive without Sullivan. It’s ok.

A lot of media bashing Karlsson. He’s clearly become the new whipping boy. Meanwhile the real problem is we have a coach that has no idea how to properly utilize and coach him.

If Sullivan is still the coach after the all star game this team is not making the playoffs.KG wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 11:02 pm I think Dubas has seen enough to assess what this team is. Which is the same as last year…

What even is the point of putting a scrub like Colin White and DOC with Malkin. What are we doing here anymore? White over Puustinen in the Top 6?

They're becoming a joke and it's not a funny one.
Puustinen buried, Poulin can't get a call-up, but Harkins and Carter are out there time and again.

Let's face it. They're just not very good. Horrible 4th line shift. Old guys overwhelmed by youth there.

Let’s keep giving ice time to guys who don’t know how to play hockey that constantly take penalties. Good call Sully.

Harkins takes his obligatory penalty.
Not to worry though, Sully will have him right back out there.

Colin White is quickly becoming Sully’s new fave. All of these PK plugs must remind Sully of himself when he played.Coffey Break wrote: ↑Mon Jan 22, 2024 11:08 pm What even is the point of putting a scrub like Colin White and DOC with Malkin. I agree. EK’s play is down to Sullivan’s coaching. They a new coach. Soon, if this season is to be rescued.
