This team reminds me of the team Sullivan inherited.

Sullivan got way too much of a pass last season. Hextall took all of the blame. Now, half the team is different with a bunch of Sullivan type players.

Guess what. We have a worse record than we did last year at this time.

Devils just beat Vegas. Metro isn’t getting any weaker.

Seriously, this team looks so disinterested. It looks like the Mike Johnston team Sullivan inherited.

Teams in the Atlantic that have been underperforming won’t keep playing bad either.

Has to be one of the most uninspiring Periods of Hockey from the Team this Season.
Numb to witnessing this PP out on the ice.
Jarry had the 2 late saves.Pettersson and Carter failed him on the Goal.
Zero forecheck, energy, offensive pressure or structure entering the Yotes Zone.
Other than Zucker they played just as bad as the Pens but we saw no ability or willingness to take advantage of that.

After the no-show 3rd period against Vegas, a normal response would be for a team to be pissed and come out strong. Not this team. They need a new voice and new blood. Kingerski had an article today about how some fans are "tired of these Penguins." He's not wrong.

Change it up.

Only Sullivan can turn the best offensive defenseman in the league in Karlsson and one of the most physical forwards in the league in Acciari and make them non-factors. I'm so done with him.

I’m going to side with Karlsson over any argument with Sullivan because I am familiar with both of their full bodies of work.

How about he flips out on Cartsss for his lazy play on the goal? No, he rewards him with power play time to boot...Sullivan has his boys he protects. EK ain't one of them.

So Sully barks at Karlsson but ignores the 40+ Games of lethargic, lazy, uninspired effort from Malkin, who is healthy and has had very little positive impact as the 2nd Line Center.

I can be persuaded to change it to "Years away from contention" or "Days since last playoff series win."

POJ with a nice effort to get that set up.He went to the net with more gusto than most of the Pens forwards.

Totally. Karlsson is a superstar. Sullivan is replaceable. I’m beginning to think Sullivan runs the show and not Dubas.

I’m not sure what’s worse, Penguins broadcasters or the music in the arena.
