BTW, anyone know where this version of Najee Harris has been hiding?
Madden has a rumor that Pickett refused to be the backup. Now I think Madden is a wannabe shock jock, but a broken clock can be right twice a day.

I will say one thing that leads me to believe Madden might be right. The QB is the leader of the team and with Pickett the offense was disorganized, didn't work that hard, snapped at reporters, etc. With Mason they're professional, work hard (seriously how did Harris keep moving 5 years with about 18 other players around him, lol). Kenny is spazzy and the team seems to feed off that, Mason is calm and the team seems to feed off that.

I might be completely off base but we went from an offense that might outscore a good college team to a unit that can score 30+ in a hostile environment just by going from the spazzy duo (Mitch and Kenny) to the calm professional (Mason). Food for thought no?

Mark Koboly was also alluding to the Pickett refusal earlier in the day on the Morning Show on The Fan. Pickett definitely showing his frustrations these days. He said in an earlier interview with the media that he gains nothing from watching. Sure seems there is trouble in paradise right now with KP.

Today, Pickett
is saying the rumors aren't true. In a round about way.

While Kenny probably didn't do that, there is something going on that we aren't seeing. The offense just responds better to Mason than they do with Mitch and Kenny. I'm kind of at the point where Mason needs to be the only QB on next years roster and see what else they can do to replace the other two. I know they won't give up on Kenny this quickly, but one has to ask why the offensive line looks better with Mason, running backs run harder, WR player harder. Heck, when was the last time a WR dove for a ball? The offense lacked effort and was just bleh with Kenny and Mitch. Sure part of that is Matt Canada, but I think there are serious questions at the QB position for next season.

I expect that the Steelers will win today, but they won't get the help they need with either a Jacksonville loss to Tennessee (5-11) or a Buffalo loss to Miami. Lawrence is questionable for the game against Tenn with a shoulder injury, so they have that going for them (maybe).

I can see Miami winning since they're playing for the division. They're at home so that should help them and Buffalo's been pretty inconsistent this year.

The line playing better is helping that a lot.

Warren looked like he grabbed the ball back up and then was done before I guess it came out again. But in this weather, just go down, asking for a fumble there.

The rain is a big equalizer. I feel like the Steelers might be up by at least 10 right now if not for the rain.

And that is how you field a kickoff that close to the side line.

Moore can’t let that happen, that fumble is on him for being a garbage lineman.

Yep. That was supposed to be a quick pass and he let him there in under 2 secs.

Dan Moore is pathetic. But Mason can't think he can sit back there in the pocket all day and have lunch either. Petered away a FG chance thee.

Baltimore gets the ball to start the 2nd half and they've got momentum on their side. This will be hilarious if Tomlin can't win against Baltimore's backups.
