Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Why are we giving 12 yards cushion against an inaccurate QB?

This team is an embarrassment. Tomlin should just resign. Belicheat is outcoaching him with a 2-10 team. LOLOLOL!

Belicheat can beat Tomlin with a college team. The defensive schemes are the same since before the players were born.Badger Bob wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 9:51 pm This team is an embarrassment. Tomlin should just resign. Belicheat is outcoaching him with a 2-10 team. LOLOLOL!

Nice. Now if Mitch doesn't screw up they'll get a field goal

At least instead of 3 and punt it's 3 and 3 points.

Not that a penalty will be the difference but that might have been one of the worst calls I have ever seen. Haha

Okay 4th and 2 and a low percentage pass is what Mitch chooses? Seriously? If he ran the ball he'd have a better chance. Probably game over now.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I have nothing. This team goes into this past Sunday with a really good chance of winning the division and in typical Tomlin coached fashion, lost two straight to teams looking at top 5 picks. Unbelievable.
I’m not sure what this teams top need is for the offseason, QB, RT, MLB, CB, coaching staff? I’m starting to think the biggest weakness on the team is the coaching staff.

Tomlin is a total moron. Tomlin has veto power over play calls too. The timeouts were ridiculous. LOL two losses in a row to two win teams. Pathetic. And he truly is Belicheat's beeyotch.
First time in NFL history a .500+ team has lost two games in a row to two teams that were 8 games under .500. LOLOLOLOL!

The only semi-bright spot in Pittsburgh sports is the Pitt basketball team. Watching the Steelers play isn't entertaining at all, even when they do win.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
The timeout when the headset broke, okay fine what can you do, but the timeout just to call a play on 4th down was stupid. You’re down by 3, Steelers defense is looking good and the Patriots offense is looking bad, and they have what 6-7 minutes left, just punt the ball. Shouldn’t be that hard of a decision.Badger Bob wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:20 pm Tomlin is a total moron. Tomlin has veto power over play calls too. The timeouts were ridiculous. Thing is, this team has the record they deserve and these two games simply improved their draft position so they can build an even better roster for Tomlin to make mediocre.

I'm hoping they go 7-10 and they fire Tomlin, but that probably won't happen. I am so not vested in this team now. It's progressively gotten worse the last several seasons.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I’m getting to the point with the Steelers that I am with the Penguins. As indifferent to them as they are to the fans, but not too much to stop complaining, lol. I know both franchises are trying to win, but something is off with both teams and I think it starts and ends with coaching.Badger Bob wrote: ↑Thu Dec 07, 2023 11:42 pm I'm hoping they go 7-10 and they fire Tomlin, but that probably won't happen. Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I gave up after Mitch slid to come up short on 3rd inside the 10 instead of going head down to get the line of gain. And then got the TD and 2 point to make it a 3 point game. That was less than 2:00 into the 4th quarter.
How did no one score after that?

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
So potentially all 4 starting linebackers out next week if Highsmith and Watt can’t play. Awesome. Colts and Texans could both pass us up this weekend and losing to the Colts next week could put the nail in the coffin of playoff hopes.
