I'd take Roy here as an assistant coach .
I'll keep all hot-headed, fighting goalies away from this team moving forward, please!
When are you officially announcing your position within the Pens organisation FLPF?

No thanks. Nutbar who isn’t well liked and had coaching tactics questioned? His head is probably too big to assistant coach.

Rumors that Roy may have something available in Ottawa with the new ownership coming in. They can take him. Never been a fan of his tactics and antics.

Great goalie, especially in the playoffs. But an egomaniac in the locker room and front office. No thanks.

It’s kind of amazing that Paul Bissonette is sitting next to Wayne Gretzky for the studio team in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Yeah, me too. After the disgusting end of that last game in Florida I hope the Knights end this tonight for their first Cup.

They always say it's a copy cat league. Vegas sure looks like a team to emulate. Depth, skill, size, strong defensive system.

It's not all about speed Sully. Dubas will bring in a good mix of players.

Would the outcome have been any different if the Panthers hadn’t had that 10 day layoff? I don’t think so.

Can't really copy how Vegas built the team since they got help from the NHL and other teams during the expansion process, but I get your point. I know it's been a few years, but the franchise didn't have to go through the growing pains that all other expansion teams had to go through.

Cassidy is a great coach. This looks great on the Bruins.

I think it might have been a bit closer without that layoff, but a couple of things really hurt them in the finals:

1) Barkov's new nickname might be Casper because he's been a complete ghost.
2) I think the injury to Luostarinen really shook things up and wrecked much of their defensive ability up front.
3) 0-13 on the PP coming into Game 5
4) For as hot as Bob got against Carolina, Adin Hill grabbed that role in the finals

I'm not sure Florida can really do much different heading into next season. I think they got off to a slow start under Maurice and were much more than a last minute wild card spot. Just took them awhile to gel.

This doesn't explain why teams that have been around for half a century doing nothing are doing worse.

Oh for sure, I can’t understand how teams can be inept for so long, especially in football where a team can go from 1 win to the playoffs pretty quickly.

Thinking my plans of going to the Cup parade will be too expensive unless they wait a week for it. Going to Vegas mid week is really cheap. Closer to the weekend, not so much. Cup parade probably Friday?

Mike Rupp says this is the most dominant SCF he’s ever seen. Mike Rupp also must have started watching hockey in 2023. What a stupid statement.

I never minded the pens winning on the road. I think you can enjoy the ceremony more without have the fans going crazy .

Dubas is on the clock.

But to be one of those fans is so much better than watching on TV. And then the players get to go sleep in their own beds at some point in the next 12-36 hours and not need to get one a jet.
