Cam had a great view of that TD a full yard inside the end zone because the D-line was pushed around like a bunch of kids again.

At 14-23 this is now the most points the offense has scored and also the most points the defense has given up in a game so far.

Gunner makes another mistake but at least it only cost us about 5 yards instead of an easy TD.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I turned the game off after I thought it was over and missed the mess at the end by fumbling a stupid gimmick play to loose even worse.
I’m still trying to remember the great batch of QB’s that came out of UMD to get this **** clown Canada hired at the NFL level and then how there was no one better to promote last year to an NFL OC. Colbert has **** this team over so bad.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
If these are the actual plays called then Canada needs to be fired now. If Trubisky isn’t finding guys open and keeps checking down to the safe option he needs pulled for Pickett.
Truth is it’s probably both and Canada needs fired and Pickett needs to be given a chance. Mitch has done nothing even average so far and doesn’t deserve any more time to prove himself.

This team is not a playoff team, they’re a top 10 draft pick team if Trubisky plays out the season. The longer he plays, the less of a chance of extending Tomlin’s over .500 season streak. I think there is a 0% chance this team makes the playoffs.

Until Watt is back we aren’t winning a game regardless of who’s running Canada’s offense.Daniel wrote:This team is not a playoff team, they’re a top 10 draft pick team if Trubisky plays out the season. Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Wait, did Trubisky throw the ball down the field and did Johnson catch it? Granted his foot was out of bounds it was still a nice play.

He’s in. The view from behind you can’t see his toe but the few from in front you can see the line unbroken. They got this wrong.Daniel wrote:Wait, did Trubisky throw the ball down the field and did Johnson catch it? Granted his foot was out of bounds it was still a nice play.

I think it was inconclusive. The one angle showed over the line, the other angle behind the line and each angle wasn’t direct. With all the camera on an NFL filed it would be nice to have one across the lines like the NHL offside camera.DelPen wrote:He’s in. They need lasers, LIDAR or geo-tagging for these reviews. Whatever soccer uses, look into that for these thing in all sports. A few blades of white grass on bad video shouldn’t determine reviews. Would make even more sense for TDs where the officials just need to watch to make sure possession is maintained and have goal line tech make the call.Daniel wrote:I think it was inconclusive. NFL: we care about the health of the players
Also NFL: if you’re injured in the last 2 minutes we’ll charge a timeout

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Seems if both teams have injuries and both agree to keep timeouts then you keep them. But there was a defensive penalty. And it was incomplete. The clock stopped anyways. Logic says they got everything wrong there. You usually only get charged a TO if the clock is running.Daniel wrote:NFL: we care about the health of the players

I can see if the player can’t return or out 2-3 plays or the team chooses a timeout but only if the clock is running at the time.DelPen wrote:Seems if both teams have injuries and both agree to keep timeouts then you keep them. Cut Gunner. That’s two really bad returns already and we are just 4 games in.

It was neither. **** Claypool had it in his **** hands. Perfect throw. Competent defense to grab a ball that was floating next to him because the receiver is giant **** moron.Daniel wrote:Well Pickett sucks.

Didn’t you notice the Jets DB knock the ball out of Claypools chest? It appeared that way to me anyway.DelPen wrote:It was neither. **** Claypool had it in his **** hands. Perfect throw.
