So Tomlin is planning to have Ben lead a comeback in the 4th and decided to throw the game now.

I kinda liked that penalty since the defense is relentless and might get 10 sacks. Mayfield looks scared and I am enjoying this.DelPen wrote:I hope Haden paid for how **** he got on that call

Even better, now the Browns get the ball back. Maybe sack number 10 and 22.5 for Watt? Or will the Browns just give up?Grunthy wrote:Refs kept that drive going. Congrats.

Steelers hit with a huge blow of Green and Harvin being back to active today. I don’t know how you can see what Waitman was able to do and think Harvin should play over him.

Is Harris hurt? Snell seems to be getting a lot of 1 yard runs today.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
I thought he would have been much better than he has been. I will admit part of it is the OL but he can’t even be trusted as a short yardage RB and the OL has been better in run blocking this year than the previous few.Grunthy wrote:Snell is awful.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
So... the highly improbable Jacksonville win over Indy happens, the Chargers and Raiders *don't* tie, and the Steelers miss the playoffs because they can't beat the backup quarterback of a woeful team that has lost 5 games in a row? Sounds like Tomlin era football.

In all fairness, this is a draft pick game but you ever notice players usually don’t improve with Tomlin’s coaching? Dan Bylsma of the NFL, coaches to almost greatness.Sigwolf wrote:So... the highly improbable Jacksonville win over Indy happens, the Chargers and Raiders *don't* tie, and the Steelers miss the playoffs because they can't beat the backup quarterback of a woeful team that has lost 5 games in a row? No one on this defense knows how to maintain their gaps. Butler is a terrible coach.

I can’t remember the last time the Steelers run defense was this bad.Grunthy wrote:No one on this defense knows how to maintain their gaps. Butler is a terrible coach.

If these are false starts then a lot of snaps should be.
