Horrible play calls in our opening drive, nice punt by the ringer but outkicks coverage and the defense lets KC walk down field. Can’t hold on 4th down. Can’t make routine tackles. Can’t make routine pass routes. I wish this team just tanked intentionally instead of this laughable game plan week after week.

Should have been clipping and a false start the last two plays. But… whatever. We need the draft pick more.

Matt Canada isn’t THE problem.
Randy Fitchner wasn’t THE problem.
Todd Haley wasn’t THE problem.
Bruce Arians wasn’t THE problem.

The guy who overrules them on the sideline and/or the guy who hired them are the bigger problems.

The amount of false hope this team gives i so deflating. Yes, both of those should had been called and certainly impacted that drive and if KC eventually lets up and we score garbage points and lose by 4 people can point to that drive and say “if only the refs didn't suck”. Not saying that’s what you or anyone else here would say but that will be the line most in the media and the guys who run the team will say.

Looked like another decent punt, I’ll excuse special teams one more time to not expect the ball to only go 20 yards up field. At this rate though we will never find out who is holding for FG and PAT to see if they are any good and cut Harvin.

Forcing balls to Ray Ray might be one of the dumbest strategies I’ve seen ever under Tomlin.

Hold looked iffy, the one thing Harvin does well is missed. But why would any team keep two QB’s on the roster that aren’t really any good and neither is the regular holder? The ONLY reason Rudolph or Haskins, let alone both, should be employed by this team is because Boswell requires it.

Guy leaped over the center causing obvious pull by Boswell. That is supposed to be a penalty. Frustrating. Steelers suck balls, but I hate when refs miss stupid obvious penalties.

Now that gene says it is legal I know it is very much illegal because he was one of the sh**est refs ever in the game.

Not going to focus on the possible illegal forward pass that just occurred?

KC doesn’t need any help from the refs but they are sure getting a lot of it.

How many years will Watt be the best player in the NFL? I worry we won’t be able to rebuild everywhere else and waste his best years like Houston did with TJ and the Bears did to some degree with Urlacher.

About 3-4 more years. The slow or fast decline based on injuries.

So the hard truth would be if we need a full rebuild we should trade him to make that go faster and better. But then that would require Colbert to make good football decisions.

If I had the time to go back the last 13 years to find Ben throwing a screen into quadruple coverage or a price out into a stacked side when we had 3rd or 4th down and need a yard or two for it to fail and then run them out of order at random you wouldn’t be able to tell which OC “called” that play.

Yes.

2 years for a QB to develop, need a deep threat WR, need d-line depth, need at least two new o-linemen. I think if you do it right it would take 4 years. So the question remains, keep Watt and bank that maybe you can rebuild and have one really good shot at the end of his dominant period or trade him and speed up that 4 year timeline to 2 and then have decent shots for about 4 to 5 years.

It’s a shame the NHL shut down over the sniffles so there’s nothing else going on to distract me from this abomination of a football team.

I wrongfully assumed we had anyone better than Devin Bush available to play. Not that Spillane and Schubert are doing much worse but we really have no competent players up the middle of our defense until you eventually run down field to find Fitzpatrick. He has to have more tackles than our NT and ILB’s.

These ******* are making me miss Vince Williams, great job.
