Bruins top line doesn’t seem to have problems with Pelec and Pulock. Go figure....

Time for a new voice and strategy for Pens come playoff time.

Bruins 1st line is a whole lot better than Pens 1st line though. Quite a rocket from Pelec to atone for one of those Pastrnak goals.

Boston looks more packed than Nashville, Raleigh, Vegas and Tampa.

Yet it will likely end in a Boston sweep, maybe 4-1 if they slip.

Montreal fans going crazy in the stands winning in OT and you can easily see all the Leafs fans in blue sweaters in a sea of empty red seats.

Toronto completes the NHL's scheduling nightmare by allowing the matchup to go to game seven. There's going to be a big dead spot somewhere in the schedule thanks to that.

The Isles suck, and Sorokin will get nowhere. There's no excuse for what the Pens did.

Maybe, Jets have a capability to make the North final a short series and it’s plausible the West goes 7 where the end the same time or even after.

It’s more likely that Boston is waiting a week or more after sweeping the Isles for the other series to finish.

There are no conferences this year, and I believe they are re-seeding round 3 based on regular season standings. If that's the case there is no way Boston plays a North division team in round 3. They would play the winner of COL/VGK if TOR comes out of the North, or CAR/TBL if either of the other two win the North. If MTL wins round 2, technically BOS could start round 3 as soon as the CAR/TBL series ends, as that will be their opponent. IF TOR wins round 2, everyone has to wait until the North series is over to determine their opponent.

Robin Lehner is the first goalie off the ice this morning. #VegasBorn
We will see if Peter DeBoer is as smart as he believes. Is he offering Lehner up as sacrifice- come back with Flower in the 2nd, we'll see.
A luxury of goalies to be sure.

I can see starting Lehner for Game 1 definitely, but benching MAF for the whole series? I really really doubt that.

Officials forgetting how to do their jobs in front of a full arena and blowing their whistles a little too lightly.

Letang makes 7.25M, Makar should make 21M.

DeBoer has a thing for Lehner for some reason. With the season MAF had he deserves to be the starter.

Down 3-0 already

My math might be wrong but isn’t this the 64th game Vegas has played? Fleury wasn’t tired. And Lehner has given up 6 after 2 periods. What a dumb decision.

Avs are all over Vegas. I think it is lucky Fleury is not in this game. There won’t be clamoring for Lehner in game 2 and Fleury will play the rest of the series and he gets 4 full days between starts to rest. I don’t know if Vegas can be the Avs 4 out of 6 but Fleury will need to steal 2 games at this point.
