On the bright side, our special teams have looked mediocre tonight.

I was fully expecting the 1/2 yard quarterback sneak from the one.

So why did the Patriots drop 15 large on Brown. Everyone can catch on this team. The tight end from a Prep School could catch a touchdown on us.

I am thinking he didn't know where he was. The entire Steeler defense appears to be suffering from the same affliction.ejd43 wrote:Why the hell did he run out of bounds?

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
It almost seems like some of these receivers could have needed more plays with the starting QB outside of a quarter in all of the preseason.

Great, a graphic showing Tomlin's awesome REGULAR season winning percentage. Gag me.

I can’t take this anymore. Going to bed after this quarter is done. This is a joke.

Not even mad at the defense giving up 30. The offense with 3 is pathetic.

Not sure what the % was, but Coach Terrific was second only to Belichick.DelPen wrote:Was it about 70%? Because it should had been higher.Humperdink wrote:Great, a graphic showing Tomlin's awesome REGULAR season winning percentage. Gag me.

Yep, we knew Brady would get his points, but the Steeler offense was exposed tonight.DelPen wrote:Not even mad at the defense giving up 30. The offense with 3 is pathetic.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
He's Dan Bylsma with an ownership that is loyal to the point of detriment to the team. Both took someone else's team to win a championship, neither had a losing record, both disappoint in the playoffs and usually to teams they should beat. Both teams tend to play down to their opponents and aren't really prepared for big games (the NE game last year might have been a fluke).Humperdink wrote:Great, a graphic showing Tomlin's awesome REGULAR season winning percentage. Is there a worse coach in the NFL in terms of half time adjustments? Tomlin's strategy appears to be "we're doing good, they won't adjust.Humperdink wrote:Donte Montcrief??? How about Donte Goodgrief?
I feel that the Dan Bylsma of the NFL will have a typical season.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
The difference between Ben done and Ben not done is where in the draft they are. This franchise will never win a Super Bowl under Tomlin. I think the Rooney's have taken coach loyalty to the point of detriment to the team. Other than the offensive and defensive lines, this is an incredibly young team.Zarovich wrote:Ben done, season done.
I'd have no problems with Ben and Tomlin gone after this season and rebuild around either Rudolph or draft a franchise QB.
