Eh, the helmet to helmet I thought was incidental. Dude led with his shoulder. The PI on the bomb was a good call, the DB panicked.ejd43 wrote:I seriously hope the jags throttle the pats today. Bad penalties taken by the jags d though that last series.

Patriots with big middle finger to Steelers as 40 year old Brady sneaks for 3 yards.

I thought I was done being mad at Tomlin and crew, but nope. Still furious. What a bunch of idiots.

With the Jags having a decent lead and Gronk getting TKO'ed, I thought the Jags had a chance. Lost my head there.

Aaaaargh. I don't think there's 2 teams I'd want in the Super Bowl. Probably would rather a Cowboys vs. Ravens matchup. :cry:Durbano wrote:Won't break my heart to see Philadelphia 0-3 in the Super Bowl.

Eagles have no chance. Aside from the fact that they're, you know, the Eagles, Belichick will eat Foles for lunch. Game over.

Haley to Browns. Some predictions, Landry Jones ends up as the backup to whoever the draft at #1 and if Barkley goes #3 they look to move the #4 for Bell and if there’s still a QB there I would make that trade.

Dallas vs Baltimore would be about the worst possible matchup.ville5 wrote:Aaaaargh. I don't think there's 2 teams I'd want in the Super Bowl. Probably would rather a Cowboys vs. Ravens matchup. :cry:Durbano wrote:Won't break my heart to see Philadelphia 0-3 in the Super Bowl.

Pittsburgh, can you remember a day like this:
1. Pirates walk-off HR
2. Return of Jung Ho Kang
3. Pens rally down 2 to beat Caps
4. Steelers trade Martavis Bryant ...
5. Then draft safety Terrell Edmunds ..
6. Who is introduced by Ryan Shazier who walks on stage

Sounds like Roethlisberger is a little miffed that the Steelers picked QB Mason Rudolph in the draft.

Wasn't Tommy Maddox saying the same things when Ben was drafted?Badger Bob wrote:Sounds like Roethlisberger is a little miffed that the Steelers picked QB Mason Rudolph in the draft.

If he's miffed, I am mystified. Ben was rumored to be looking at retirement last year. And that rumor will continue to make the rounds as long as Ben plays. The Steelers would be fools not to be grooming a replacement.Badger Bob wrote:Sounds like Roethlisberger is a little miffed that the Steelers picked QB Mason Rudolph in the draft.

It wasn't a rumor. Ben himself described in detail how he consults with family at the end of each season to weigh the pros and cons of continuing his career.
Then they fired Haley and now he says he wants to play for several more seasons.
He'll change his mind again.

Re: Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread
Roethlisberger is a huge QB diva. He only has 2 years remaining on his current contract, but he's now saying he wants to play 3 to 5 more years. I think the Steelers would, at most, sign him to a one year deal after this current one expires, depending how he's been playing at the end of this contract. He's had a bunch more hits than Brady ever experienced in his career. Plus, Brady didn't run into a Chrysler New Yorker with a crotch rocket without a helmet either.

James Connor is making the Bell holdout not seem so bad. I know, it’s just the Browns, but he kid showed up today.

Coach Cliche' will be spewing some dandies after that debacle.

I’ll take a 3-13 season if it meant real change.
But it won’t.

No team can replace a loss like Shazier but Cam Sutton is horrible.ejd43 wrote:Good god. Randy fitchner is in over his head.
This all comes back to Colbert not getting depth.
