Funniest thing on the Caps loss is Holtby was the goalie of record.

Vegas keeps finding ways to win, they might not have to break a sweat until they play the winner of the central.

Caps fan quoted after the game: "Don't panic yet, this ain't the penguins (we are playing)".

Brought a smile to my face.

Frikin seriously!!! Nobody adjusts to him. It is amazing how entrenched in a specific style coaches/players are and how the refuse to adjust to situations.

After last night, the probability of a high number of 4 game sweeps has been reduced.

Eric Staal is nearly decapitated by a cross check to the side of the neck by a Jet defensemen. A brutal hit. A highly visible hit. Staal went down in a heap and remained motionless for quite some time.

However, since the Jets were shorthanded, the referees invoked Playoff Rule 213, section 7, paragraph 3, whereby no team can be 2 men short after April 8th.

Edit: And then the refs in Craps/BJ game put the BJ's down 2 men by calling a slashing the stick foul. Ah, NHL officiating, it can't get any more inconsistent.

They could have turned away on the second slash.

And in other news,Tom Wilson is a piece of c--p. He makes Dubinsky look sympathetic.

Hoping for triple OT and a GWG by Orpik, just to drag this thing out even longer and a non-skilled player getting it (so no one we care about gets hot). Wear yourselves out boys, we can watch allllllll night.

Well, you were close. We'll take two OT's and a 7 game brutal series. Home ice is overrated. Ha.

Think the Minnesota Wild (down 3 -1 in the series) are in trouble? Zach Parise (broken sternum) has joined Ryan Suter (broken ankle) on the season ending injury list.

To add insult to injury (pun intended), the aforementioned players have the highest salary on the Wild at $9 million each.

Really surprised the Kings went down 4 straight. They couldn't score, tough to watch.

I realize the Kings aren't the best scoring team around. But man is MAF playing lights out. 4 games- only 3 measly goals on ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY shots. Wow.

So how bad was this missed call, in full of the ref? Today the Jets' Josh Morrissey was suspended to for it. The ref(s) should also be suspended.

100%. So much crap that should be suspension-worthy in this league goes unpunished. When something blatantly obvious actually gets a suspension, yet does not even gain a penalty during the game, that crew should be suspended for a game or two. Repeat offenses by the same officials... they should be done in this league. The only way you can change the horsecrap environment in this league is by changing those responsible for enforcing it.

Nashville throwing entire kitchen sink at Colorado. First 5 min absolutely nuts. Then Colo nearly scores on first shot! This has makings of an interesting one!

As hyper-competitive as the West was this year during the reg season, it sure isn't now. The cream has risen to the top and it out-classes the field. Vegas had a tougher time against the Kings than the 4-0 sweep indicates, but they still took it in 4 straight. Sharks no problem with Ducks. Nashville has a stranglehold on the AVs up 3-1 and heading for Game 5 in Nashville. Good luck with that, Avs. Jets-Wild looked to be a tight series but with Suter and now Parise out, even with Bob playing up to his ability this playoffs, I don't see a chance for the Wild.
