#NHL trade: Flyers trade Vincent Lecavalier and Luke Schenn to Kings for prospect Jordan Weal and 3rd-round draft pick, per reports
Why do teams keep doing the Flyers favors?? Does Bobby Clarke have dirt on all them or something?

Vincent Lecavalier will play for the #kings for the rest of the season and intend to retire at the end of it. Last season in the NHL.

So, it appears the deal was for Luke Schenn and the Flyers made them take Vinny.

Ron Hextall is starting to look like a magician. He makes GMJR look like an idiot.

That is an AWFUL trade for the kings. The only thing that makes this legal is the fact that Philly retained 50% of both of their salaries.

Seth Jones for Johansen? Wow!

I have no idea what to think about this.

Watch the Kings turn back time for Lecavalier and Schenn into a bonafide top six forward.

Kings get some depth. If they didn't kill their cap space here this is very good for them since it looks like all the money can be off the books this summer.

If only there was a way Rutherford could get Hextall drunk enough to trade is Simmonds.

the amount of money that the Cryers are paying for people that don't actually play on their team is comical.

Kunitz and Bennett for Simmonds with Flyers keeping $1M per year.

The suggestion was to get Hextall drunk and make the trade so that is what I came up with. When Hextall gets over the hangover and realizes what he did... he can claim that Kunitz replaces the physical part and is under contract for one more year, and Bennett is a top-6 prospect that just needs a change in scenery. For the Pens, moving Kunitz opens the needed cap space and the $1M keeps the actual salary approximately level. Do it RS!
