Pretty typical division game for the Bucs so far.

This roster needs to be Happ-less as soon as possible.

He wasn't any good as a Phil, which is only what I remember him as. I'd like to totally forget him now.

This stinks, especially because this game has COLD BATS written all over it.

Man, Rizzo and Castro kill us.

The Cards are losing...at least until the top of the 9th, anyway.

Maybe it's time to start watching the Cards-Reds game now. I think the Buccos are done tonight.

Miracles can happen: The Cards didn't eke out their game in Cincy.

Wish we could actually, you know, win when the Cards don't. It's like the Bucs are, in some ways, still paying for the slow start at the beginning of the season.

I honestly think the Pirates need to acquire Samardzija if they can. He's almost a must as far as I'm concerned.

How long is Jordy Mercer signed for? Is he in jeopardy of being replaced in the near future (unsure of their farm system). I was thinking of getting a Mercer player shirt. Thanks!

Polanco giveth and Polanco taketh away.

There are athletic skills and there are mental skills. One out of two is not bad, I suppose.

And then there is Kang who has both.

Hopefully he will be riding the pine when either Harrison or Mercer return.

When Mercer and Harrison return, who do you think will be everyday infield starters? (Mercer, Harrison, Walker, Alverez, Ramirez, Kang)

One year doesn't qualify as "killing". Before that, we were able to contain Rizzo quite well.

The team that is best at beating the Pirates is the Pirates.

3rd best record in baseball...sorry, the Cardinals are just a much, much better baseball team.

It sucks, but there is nothing we can do about it.

Most of these games have been one-run games and several have gone to extra innings. They aren't that much better themselves but we are better at beating ourselves.

If we learn that the seasons starts in April and stop giving away games in the division we could actually win the division.

No Holliday, Adams, and oh yeah that guy named Wainright.....

Yes, they are much better. That's the equivalent of mccutchen, marte, and Cole. The Pirates would not sustain this record without those 3.

We were 8-11 against them last year and everybody brags about how much the guys who have replaced them have done. It's a difference but it's not as huge as we make it seem like with boneheaded plays.

Buccos making this tougher than it should be. Need some help from the Giants if this game turns out bad.
