Internet Provider

Post by Steve Dave »

Looking for a new internet provider, figured I'd see what your opinions were. Currently have Comcast. Thanks for any info/help in advance!

Unless your 'hood is wired for Fios, its pretty much Comcast or local provider like Consolidated. Depending how you use internet at home, you could also look into an LTE hotpot, but you'd have to mind your usage.

Not many options, and they all have their drawbacks. Good luck.

"My hood" is wired for Fios. How is Fios? Live outside the Harrisburg area by the way.

Better than Comcast; same issues, but lower frequency. If you don't mind performing the maintenance & tweaking, just buy one of their routers from Amazon/eBay. $80 saves you $10/mo.
