They used to.... Yes I said it.
Meh, they couldn't afford him. Good for Brooks cashing in. Go Caps, F the Rangers.

I was talking about Despres......:)
Despres hasn't hit much in these playoffs... unless we changed to subject to turnovers, because he does lead his team in turnovers. Do not miss that aspect of his game.

I really thought this was gonna be Ovy and the Caps' year. Damn. Rangers too good in game 7s. They are practically automatic.

...

Lets go Lightning!!!!

What is the turnover stat listed as? I'm having trouble finding it because it doesn't list giveaways. (NHL.com)

I'd settle for Tampa taking matters into their own hands and just fixing this series. Hopefully, they adjust and can open it up a little in game 2.

Too close to Jersey, it was bound to catch on to the nearby cities.

I love you, Tyler Johnson, with all of my hardened Pens-fan heart. So much. So, so, so much.

So much more exciting when NY is behind, and I don't say that because of any rooting interest. The Rags just can't lock it down when Tampa is ahead.

Crazy game tonight but entertaining.

Stayed up to watch all 3 OTs of the Ducks-Hawks last night. I'm pulling for the Ducks, so I'm disappointed that Chicago won to even things up. But it was an entertaining game. Andrew Shaw's (rightfullly) disallowed header goal was hilarious.

How do you play hockey when you have no idea what the refs will call? That was a bad penalty call that led to a ranger goal. So now they call everything??? This is nuts

Can we borrow Stevie Y's scouting staff for a couple seasons? Preferably the ones where we actually have some draft picks. This Tampa team's depth is astounding. Kucherov is absolute gold.

“We’re not going to win,” said goalie Henrik Lundqvist, “if I give up six goals.” Nope.

"So there sat Lundqvist, a King with a crown tarnished by an ultra-talented group that seems to have his number … or numbers, as in a 4.75 GAA and .840 save pct. in six meetings this season covering the regular season and this round."

Yeah, me either. Only thing I can say with certainty-he's not a mentor.

So who does BB put on the ice in the final seconds when the game is on the line? None other than old number 24.

Cool, Despres on the front of NHL.com: "Simply Simon". When was the last time Ben Lovejoy got a puntastic frontpage appearance on a major website? When his face exploded on a plane ride?

lol, I'm so salty!!!!

Hawks-Ducks heading to second OT. This has been the best game of the entire playoffs.
