Post by Skatingpen »

@EJHradek_NHL: Hart Trophy finalists: Carey Price, Canadiens; John Tavares, Islanders and Alex Ovechkin, Capitals

Price should just be nominated and win the Vezina...I never really was a fan of having a goalie or defensman in the Hart. They have there own awards...

Perhaps that the Hart is supposed to be "most valuable player", and not "really good offensive player that has no clue what 'team' means". Just a guess.

Backstrom had almost as many points as Ovechkin, should not that take Ovechking out of the running this year? Especially as many players had more points than him!

Hahahaha, MISTER HART gives up 4 on 18 shots in a huge game. Yeah, give it to him, he's AWESOME.

What, Stubban can't figure out which Bolt to assault to make Carrie's life easy?

Ah, I was not aware that we based the voting for the Hart on one game... Double Ah, I didn't know that we based the voting for the Hart on Playoff games.

Nope. We base it on someone that benefits from the rest of team playing a style that makes their stats look good. Personally I'm just tired of everyone calling him the Second Coming. He's not.

Are you talking about how everyone on the Caps feeds Ovechkin the puck in the left circle so that he can one-time and one-time and one-time and one-time and one-time? You mean the rest of the team playing a style that makes their stats look good like that?
