...because it just wouldn't be right to end a 10-inning 1-1 game in St. Louis without a walk-off RBI by Slippery Rock Matt Adams.

Forgot to mention having the Bucs having bases loaded, no outs, and ending up with zilch in the 6th.

And Andrew is doing McNuttin. I think it's time to give him a rest to heal. It's not like it will hurt the offense.

Agree. I know games in April and May are as important in the W/L columns as games in September, but as far as Cutch is concerned, I'm worried his knee will get worse the more he plays. Rest him now.

This feels like we're just playing till the Cards can find a way to score a run.

Walking Holliday is a nice start. <--Good. Didn't hurt.

Still, let's see how the Cards are going to pull a win out of their butts this time.

Buccos strand 18. Not a typo.

And of course the Cards win in walk-off fashion, because that's the m.o.

Another day spent waiting for the Cardinals to find a way to get a run and win the game.

I haven't. Still watching every night. Just swamped with work. I really need them to be a good distraction right now, and they ain't it.

It's early, but I don't like seeing them 8.0 games back already. Last weekend's Cards and this week's Reds series (well, the way the Reds one is shaping up so far) have been infuriatingly awful.

This is getting out of hand. It's like they decided to pick up where the Pens left off. Good defense and no offense at all.

If I'd sigh any deeper, I'd cause the universe to implode on itself.

Every game vs. the Cards tests my fortitude. And every time, my fortitude fails the test.

Hey look! Bucs have the bases loaded, 1 out, and there's the inning-ending DP. Predictable.

WAIT! A run! Two runs! Of the batted-in variety!
