Go Ottawa! Don't want any help from the glass-jumping monkey or his cohorts. Plus that would make Tuesday more interesting.

Refreshing to see a team fight back, but I'm making bitter beer face because it's the Caps.

Unlike us, maybe the Caps can come from behind for a win. Like to see em do it in regulation.

They really need to do it in regulation. It OTT even gets one point, it's bad for us.

Edit: Sigh...

Need TOR to win their shootout, too.

Drops us to 95-96-ish % chance, just like that, in one day.

And here I thought we were pals.

No, jimreb, I know what you mean. We can only hope you're a poor prognosticator.

Well, if they're going down, whenever it is, then I'm going down with 'em.

Detroit is also fading at the end. Down 2 zip to Caps half way through the second. Babcock may not be the answer some people think he is. They are 3-5-2 in their last ten.

I'm not sure either, but what would really help us is to win a couple damn hockey games.

Heh. Yeah, that, too. :?

Damn, Pens.

But I think we need the Caps to win in regulation.

And, of course, hope the Leafs muster some pride in playing spoiler for their provincial rival.

I'm rooting for Ottawa tonight. No interest in seeing the Pens back into the playoffs. Let them earn it.

Jason Botterill's sister, Jennifer, is on the 2nd intermission panel on the Leafs' broadcast. I didn't know he had a sister who played for the Canadian women's team.

Huh.

The thing that totally blows about this is if the pens do miss the playoffs, it's not like they get a better draft pick out of it because they traded it away. Yikes.
